Core values
We at Amin Al Iraq Bank ensure that the annual report includes the bank’s strategic objectives and any progress in non-financial activities, as well as a description of the bank’s business model, and that the financial department is committed to the latest international financial reporting standards as much as possible, including Standard No. (9), in accordance with the controls and instructions of the Central Bank of Iraq. The annual report includes a separate section for the bank’s governance and its work responsibilities. There is a specialized committee that monitors performance and adherence to the bank’s core values, and these values are binding on all according to a clear strategic plan. The important and fundamental matter is that risk management cannot be separated from the implementation of governance in the bank, but rather there must be an effective and clear integration between the two. - Sustainability: Comprehensive development is one of the goals that societies seek to achieve, and within its duties and social responsibilities, our bank seeks to promote comprehensive development and contribute to it. Many strategic goals come to express the bank’s role in achieving the goals of comprehensive development. It reflects our commitment to social responsibility, especially since Iraq has signed the global agenda approved by the United Nations in 2020 to achieve comprehensive development. This is related to achieving financial inclusion for all sectors of society, providing advanced banking services, and making them accessible to all segments of society.
